Manuel Rocheman (* 23 July 1964 in Paris) is a French jazz musician (pianist, composer).
Rocheman came from a musical family; his maternal grandfather was a flautist, and his father, the guitarist and actor Lionel Rocheman founded a hootenanny at the American Center in Paris, where they met musicians from all over the world. Rocheman started playing at the age of six and, at twelve, took part in jam sessions in Paris at the invitation of Bob Vatel.

At the Conservatoire National de Région de Paris, he took piano lessons with Alberto Neuman, a student of Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli, and attended percussion classes. He also worked with the jazz pianists Gabriel Garvanoff and Michel Sardaby.

In 1980 he went to New York, where he met Tommy Flanagan and Jaki Byard. In the same year, Vatel brought him together with Martial Solal and he became his only pupil. From 1983 he worked in Paris with a trio; in 1994 he performed at the Paris Jazz Festival as a duo with Solal.

In addition to his solo work, Rocheman performs in duo with Olivier Ker Ourio and with Sara Lazarus. He has also worked with musicians such as Anthony Ortega, Sylvain Beuf, Al Foster, Aldo Romano, George Mraz and Kyle Eastwood. Since 2004 he has been a member of Dusko Goykovich's International Jazz Orchestra. He has also played with Toninho Horta (Café & Alegria, 2012) and with Rick Margitza. Read more on Last.fm.
