Someday Lyrics

You say you left to find reasons not to stay
You say you lost yourself somewhere on the way
You say living is easier when I'm around
And you say you need me help to get off the ground

But I'm not gonna go home tonight
I ain't gonna leave 'til I know you'll be alright
But I'm afraid we're searching for things we'll never find
'cause your problems are just like mine they're hard to define

Someday all of this pain may make sense to you
Some say losing it all can bring something new

But I'm not gonna go home tonight
I ain't gonna leave 'til I know we'll be alright
But I'm afraid that you and I are wasting our time
'cause your problems are just like mine
they're hard to define

We're searching for things we'll never find
Your problems are just like mine they're hard
define

Some say you have to fall to learn how to fly
Some day we may understand just the reason why
Some day

There are at least two groups calling themselves The Perishers.

1) The most well-known group is a Swedish indie rock band. The band began in 1997 composed of six members, since 2001 it has consisted of Ola Klüft (vocals, guitar), Martin Gustafson (keyboards, backing vocals), Pehr Åström (bass), and Thomas Hedlund (drums).

Although they have not had a major commercial breakthrough yet, they do have a fanbase that stretches across Europe and North America. They've had several songs appear in episodes of some popular American television programs: Grey's Anatomy, The OC, Veronica Mars, One Tree Hill, 16 and Pregnant, and Greek. Their song Sway also plays on the "College rock" station in the Sims 2. Also of note is the fact that Sarah Isaksson (Klüft's former vocal teacher) is a featured artist on their song Pills.

Since 2011, Ola Klüft has been performing solo under the name A Lanky Swede. Thomas Hedlund has been seen playing drums for Phoenix during their North American Tour.

2) The other group is British and has released two albums (as of 2007). The band is a four-piece originally from Basingstoke but now based in London. The Perishers are: Paul Osbourne (vocals, bass), Torquil Pagdin (guitar), Spencer Chisholm (guitar) and Diff (drums). Read more on Last.fm.
