"Beginning 2012 the Duo Julian & der Fux was founded by the Viennese producers Julian Hruza and Dominic Plainer aka Lupo.

They already caused a stir with their first single „Speckbrot“, due to its video going viral on Youtube and Vimeo. The same video was chosen for the Crossing Europe Filmfestival in Linz, as well as for the Vienna Independent Shorts as a contendent in the „National Musikvideo Contest“. It was followed up by the second single „Altes Ego“ which reached number 3 on the FM4 Charts and is part of the FM4 Soundselection 28. The video shows an aging man who with a smile calmly revues his past, while looking forward to the future realizing: „Damn, there‘s so little that really counts“.

„Mischwald Kapitel Eins“ (mixed forest chapter one) subsequently followed with a short retrospect – the 12 track remix EP was re-filled with adaptations of works by Ken Hayakawa, Burnin‘ Tears, Denis Yashin, Bernhand Fleischmann and other Austrian artists, as well as a good portion of Viennese night life. Beyond that, Julian & der Fux are part of the First Viennese Home Organ Orchestras release „Transformator 1“, adding a new interpretation of „Wie geht es?“."

In their both energized and danceable shows the duo takes their audience on a voyage along the shadows between the abyss of mortality and the euphoric arrival of dawn.
