A) Beluga (Band)
Formed in Madrid in 2011 by childhood friends Carlos Ortega (vocals), José Ramírez and Lucas Triguero (guitars), the band toured and recorded demos for several years up until the release of their first single, " Diario" , in 2015. Shortly before they recruited Luis Paúl on bass and shortly after, Román Méndez joined on drums. This lineup went on to record the band's first LP, "Búmeran", with Manuel Cabezalí (from Havalina) on production duties. The album released in early 2016 and garnered them some modest buzz in the local indie scene on the back of the title track and the standout single "Mis Demonios".

Román would leave in late 2016 and be replaced by Serch Geval, completing the band's definitive lineup. They would self-produce for the standalone single "Un Baile de Sangre", released in early 2018 with a music video. In October of that same year the band released their second LP, "Tiempo de Leones", again produced by Manuel Cabezalí. The album's first sigle, "Bioluminiscencia", caught some attention from the indie music press and put them in an upward trajectory, wich got cut short by the 2020 pandemic and lockdowns. The band went on indefinite hiatus in 2022 after a farewell concert in their native Madrid.

Afterwards, Carlos released a solo album under the monicker "seco" (Ahora. Los Cuerpos. Hablan.) and Luis founded the punk-rock outfit BASURA, which is active to this day.

B) Beluga (YouTube)
Beluga is an American YouTuber whose content revolves around Discord Skits. as well as memes and shorts on his second channel Beluga Jr.

Videos
On his YouTube channel, Beluga primarily uploads short Discord-related or speedrun meme videos. This channel, even though it's his second channel supposedly, has gained a huge amount of recognition in late June 2021 due to the nature of the content and has quickly outgrown his Lucid Dreaming channel.

Music
"Belupacito", Beluga's official and favorite song was actually created by hunterGray but Beluga decided to take it and rebrand it as his own. The song's name was based on/inspired by Despacito and an orchestrated remix of Running in the 90's. Read more on Last.fm.
