American recording artist and developer ’’Elven Jones Jr (born November 19, 1986 – present), better known by his ‘’’V Dot Nam, was an American recording artist from Detroit, Michigan. Currently, the CEO/ Founder of Hip Hop Empire Magazine & V Is 4 Vietnam International. DJ Vietnam has been a DJ with Coast 2 Coast Mixtape DJs for over 9 years and is currently under WuWorldwide DJ Coalition & Supa DJ Coalition. With more than 40 albums under his belt and more to come, Nam has realized that it is more important to develop artists into the ones that you now see on television and hear on the radio instead of taking over the whole show. The name, V Dot Nam came from being an initials of one of his birth neighborhoods in the Motor City. From being behind the scenes to designing high-quality artwork; V Dot Nam has served/ is serving in the industry as a songwriter, A&R, manager, and publicist. Vietnam has done work with artists from all over the world such as Germany, Egypt, Puerto Rico and the United States while promoting artist from Michigan, Memphis, New York, Florida, California, Texas, Ohio, Georgia and all the rest of 50 states.
For promotion, he gives the most exclusive under ranked artists the chance to shine through multiple mixtape series and the most influential Hip Hop editorial, Hip Hop Empire Magazine; While using social marketing techniques and resources that allows him to reach out to members of Social Networks (i.e. Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Reverbnation, etc. ), Email Blast and many more. V enlisted into the U.S. Army later deployed 7 days after walking the stage. Vietnam really got serious with music during his freshman year of High School by being involved with church choirs to winning state championships with multiple school choirs. During his career, he created 2 genres of music called Thowd & GrindRap during this time he was creating an army of groups like Welcome 2 Thowd Town, then ThowdFamilia , Click Thowd, and most notably, W2TT.
===Early life===
The first 8 years of his life, he grew up listening to Detroit House and West Coast Gangsta Rap; after that, he became fond of DMX (Ruff Ryders), Jay-Z (Roc), Nas, Master P (No Limit), Bone Thugs N Harmony and many more great musicians that paved the way for the people to get stuff off their chest through music.
Vietnam started writing and putting lyrics in structures at the age of 11 years old. From 13 years old to 17, Nam was involved with church choirs to winning state championships with multiple school choirs. During his high school days, he started off playing football; Freshman year, Nam ran Track & Field won the Ed Kirpatrick Award and then when he got to his sophomore year in High School, he succeeded in Cross Country winning several medals and awards for both until his senior year. really got serious with music during his freshman year of High School by being involved with church choirs to winning state championships with multiple school choirs. V started his first record label during his junior year. The name of it was Nine11 Entertainment, which consisted of Jai Chat (See BUNCHIE), K Tyrell (KT3), N9ne11, Prig, Queeze, Young Head Bustas (YHB), Bubbles and more. Senior year he started taking music more seriously. 7 days later after the last day, he graduated from Garfield High School.

V started off as an recording engineer and producer for Cut Throat Cartel (formerly known as Cut Throat Entertainment/ Underground Etc.) in the beginning of his musical voyage (Killeen (TX), 2006). After an affiliated committee heard one of his production tracks, it landed him an opportunity to produce “What Must I Say” for SparkDawg featuring Yung Texxas and Prince Paul while he was stationed in Fort Hood, TX. At this time, he was going by the name of "Young Nam" and this was during this time, Nam meet Big Sho' Daz forming the group, Welcome 2 Tho' wd Town (W2TT). Later on, these two hustlers sold 2,000 copies of "B4 Da Show Mixtape, Vol. 1" in the first 2 weeks of its release on the streets. As more songs and characters were created, W2TT expanded the sound of Tho' wd music with Alternative Rock on "It's Funny" under one of his groups. Vietnam put together multiple groups like: Soulja Deep Click, W2TT La Familia, Click Tho' wd, Nine11, ABD and many more. Since the beginning of the Tho'wd Town movement, Vietnam has been recruited: J Money, KUP, Da Mayor, KC Streetz, Brick Banjo, Neptoon, Speed Cedes, SL Tip, FredFaulk, AMoney, Lear, Grench, Casino DubbSprings, KiKi, JR (Chi), Mz. Ash Dash, Lady Freestyle, Grim (TGReapa), 301, Yella, Mere, 1st Lady, Shidava, and over a hundred of souljaz.
===2007===
In the beginning of '07, Worked as an in-house producer for Atlantic Records for a couple months then he went on to create his own label in 2007. During this time era, he produced, written, engineered and mixed his first independent album "The Definition of…", which other considers this as a Greatest Hits collection. Nam felt like nothing was happening so that made him, later on, start up his own independent record label, GrindHouse Records along with its interactive website. V Dot first made his first industry appearance in a showcase that he and his brother was hosting for two consecutive weeks, which his DJ crew mate, DJ Chuck T congratulated him on the performance. Before leaving the state of Texas, he recorded over 20 albums within a 6 month period.

In 2008, V Dot used the elements and formula of funk to create "Stupid On Da Bus", afterward giving credits to George Clinton for being the originator of this genre. After touching down to Miami around the time of President Obama's election, he completed the entire site which includes a community called "GrindMunity". Launching a booming site, he attracted fans from across the world from countries such as Italy, Russia, Iceland, Brazil, Venezuela and a whole lot more. V recorded and completed 2 albums: "Diamonds And Dollas Everyday" & "Miami Fresh". Shoot video footage for Miami Fresh: The Movie, which featured Wu-Tang's "Future Chamber", Big Mike, the 40/ 40 Club and many more appearances. He also created theme songs for affiliated companies: "Fiyah On Da Flo" (Miami Heat), "Wetter Den Water" (Voss Water) and "Dance" (Club Madonna).
===2009===
Vietnam met with a gentleman from Detroit that got him with a position as a graphic designer for Freeway Ricky Ross during his incarceration. Shortly afterward, he took a trip to Miami, where he got the privilege to kick it with Big Mike, Double D and Wu-Tang Clan's Future Chamber on top of doing theme songs for VOSS Water, Club Madonna and the Miami Heat basketball team (before Lebron came in). This trip was not to just push the music, but it was to show the world what he could do in only 1 month while being down there. The whole time Nam was in the MIA, Nam & Sho Daz marched through the trenches of Little Haiti, Havanna, Miami Beach, North & South Beach.
After coming back from Miami in 2009, V had 1 finished album (Testimony 19) working on the next LP using a different alias (Eight Years of Reign). In the middle of each album at this time, V had to release 75% of his artists in due to a self-gain partnership.
When he got back to the Great Lakes, he ventured off into a new direction within his career and created a worldwide hall of fame for the Hip-Hop genre online; designing a website that consisted of the same functions of facebook, myspace, youtube and ReverbNation all in one. He worked that for a couple years to put experience under his belt, then at the tail-end of that company's development; he branched off to create an empire that reconstructs entertainment for the goodness of mankind. Instead of being selfish, Nam has an outlet for every position in the industry to be a part of….

In 2010, GrindHouse Records was retired and he helped founded The Worldwide Hip Hop Hall of Fame Wax Museum which he delivered all the graphic and web work. "If I would have never took the journey of putting down the foundation of this company, My portfolio would not be as vivid as it is right now." His position in the company before he was betrayed was the President of Marketing & Promotions for the Worldwide Hip Hop Hall of Fame Wax Museum (WWHHHFWM). At this time, he was going to school for Graphics Arts then he picked up Drafting later on to benefit the company more. V Dot served as a Graphic/ Web Designer providing services like websites, advertisements, promotional resources, customized press passes, apparel and many more opportunities to be announced within the length of time. V also created the DJ Society & TV sections of the WWHHHFWM while promoting independent and major artists on various mixtapes.
2011 - 2012
V worked picked up another position as a Director of Media Relations for Addict Magazine as well as multiple positions such as chief editor, photographer, writer, web designer, magazine designer, layout guru and much more. V resigned because the owner demonstrated poor business ethics. He saw what he did for his first editorial development consumers, so he decided that he was not going to have just a magazine but an empire working along side the museum but his friend didn't see it his way. Nam has done work with artists from all over the world such as Germany, Egypt, Puerto Rico and the United States while promoting artist from Michigan, Memphis, New York, Florida, California, Texas, Ohio, Georgia and all the rest of 50 states. Being in the Lone Star state, he learned what wreckin shop meant and from then on Nam been banging the sounds of DJ Screw, SUC, Guerrilla Maab, Dead End Alliance and many great Texas legends. V Dot maturity shows from him being brought up by OGs and veterans. while serving full duty in the U.S. Army. Stationed in Fort Hood, he formed a town (Welcome 2 Tho' wd Town aka W2TT) along with several other groups and families connecting to it. W2tt now have over 100 members including street hustlers, military trained soldiers, veterans, college students and many more different walks of life. Even though, his age is young; he is one out of the million of his peers to obtain such supreme knowledge while commencing with Pastors, Reverends, Deacons and many other spiritual leaders. To keep everything a float, Nam gave CrazyMF-C his own Battalion in North Carolina "4377 Raizahz"; which allowed him to pick up recruits in his region under the LI seal.
Vietnam expanded his whole company by himself by providing more great exposure for artists, DJs, record labels, producers, A&Rs, businesses & event promoters worldwide. With the eye appearing visual presentation, this magazine is quite different from the traditional celebrity glorified editorials. Integrating real articles for real people with on-point videos hand selected for best viewer satisfaction, major and indie songs mixed by "Da Engineer" himself and much more. V was featured on "It's Time (TerroristMixx)" by Ara B on her maxi-single and then followed it with "The Hottest Summer Ever 2" mixtape. V Dot Nam also recorded a track, "Break It Down," with a local R&B singer from Ohio for their dual album releases; which was deshelved due to label decisions. Just recovering over one of his former partners using his magazine to gain rank in a gang, he released his 3rd mixtape, ThowdLife Jungle" presented by his music army "Lifeless Immortal (LI)". At the same time, Nam executive produced Crazy's debut mixtape Murdah Mindstate then released it under the LI brand.
===2015===
V Dot Nam launched EmpireIAM "The SemiMajor Recording Industry" as well as developed his first software that he developed from scratch. The 1st software was designed for musicians and businesses, and the 2nd was a SMS support center for anti-bullying and suicide crisis. Besides software development, Nam has also journeyed into data entry and business advocacy. On August 20th, he presented at the FCC Supplier Diversity Workshop & Conference while assisting with one of his brother companies. Following after that V Dot marched in the 20th Anniversary of the Million Man March entitled "Justice Or Else". There he met Mixmaster Ice (Official DJ of UTFO).
While campaigning the official theme song for The Million Man March from Royal Height (from the Legendary group, The Orioles), V also ran into the family of Mike Brown, Eric Gardner, Detroit New Era and many more special people that attended. Before really getting into the educational institutions, the University of EmpireIAM gained some much traffic that it crashed the server; while everything else on the site remained unaffected. Before departing from DC, Vietnam ran into an obstacle which caused a setback due to the main computer that was being used suffered a water spill during a work session. Shortly after that minor setback, V got everything back up and continued to add more applications and features to EmpireIAM. In the 3rd quarter going towards the 4th, V Dot made his sister that he started his musical journey with the CMO and Program Director of the EmpireIAM Enterprise.
===2016===
Starting the 1st quarter off with a show featuring the Uncle of Lebron James. V released his 4th mixtape entitled "House of Drama" as well as launched Mixtape Dynasty website and mobile app. 2 more artists, Young Rock and King KIP, was added to the Lifeless Immortal rooster. The first version of "Apple of My Eye" was leaked out early then sent to Maybach after he ended the MMG+Detroit Beef. During this time, he was working as the head engineer for 906 Studios. While in the middle of working on Blessed By A Curse and the Lifeless Immortal Manual, V Dot mother passed causing the album to be pushed back. Just so all of his soldiers could retrieve their missions during the time of loss, Nam created the Immortal SocialBASE; which is a social platform for Immortalized artists and military personnel to experience more eliteness in social media. As Da Season's Vet really looked at the direction that this project was going, he decided to split up the album.
===2017===
Just to show the world V Dot Nam's versatility in production, he released a compilation entitled "U Aint Win Against Nam" which featured Bunchie (pka Kaivonne Da Prophecy), Django Jones, SparkDawg, CrazyMF-C, Welcome 2 Thowd Town, W2TT La Familia and N9ne11. Getting the world ready for the wave of Immortal lyricists, Vietnam dropped Da City of Murders along with Crazy6Nam; which is a mixtape with his artist CrazyMF-C and Da Mafia 6ix (formerly known as Three 6 Mafia). Since the world has been waiting to hear both Da Season's Vet and SPi on a dual mixtape, the label decided to release "Hostile TakeOva" on MyMixtapez and DatPiff. Former No Limit artist, Yung Rowdy, joined Lifeless Immortal and LI West is started.
Nam felt like it was time to get the show started, so he released The Beginning by Lifeless Immortal for the fans that were anticipated for the next release. Grabbing the eyes of more people, V Dot ended up picking up a position of working as a personal designer for MikeWillMADEIt. Providing more exposure and opportunities to musicians worldwide, MikeWill linked up with V to search for the "Next Major Producer" and hottest artists in the "Major In Da Game" contests. To unite with family, Nam linked up with his cousins in Detroit and formed "The Henny Boys". To debut the Henny Boy's visual presence, V Dot built and set up the "Detroit LickHER Store". Within less than 24 hours, the "Lifeless Immortal News Center" was created to display all Immortal content.

Being in the Lone Star state, he learned what wreckin shop meant and from then on Nam been banging the sounds of DJ Screw, SUC, Guerrilla Maab, Dead End Alliance and many great Texas legends. V Dot maturity shows from him being brought up by OGs and veterans. while serving full duty in the U.S. Army. Stationed in Fort Hood, he formed a town (Welcome 2 Tho' wd Town aka W2TT) along with several other groups and families connecting to it. W2tt now have over 100 members including street hustlers, military trained soldiers, veterans, college students and many more different walks of life. Even though, his age is young; he is one out of the million of his peers to obtain such supreme knowledge while commencing with Pastors, Reverends, Deacons and many other spiritual leaders. To keep everything a float, Nam gave CrazyMF-C his own Battalion in North Carolina "4377 Raizahz"; which allowed him to pick up recruits in his region under the LI seal.
Vietnam expanded his whole company by himself by providing more great exposure for artists, DJs, record labels, producers, A&Rs, businesses & event promoters worldwide. With the eye appearing visual presentation, this magazine is quite different from the traditional celebrity glorified editorials. V was featured on "It's Time (TerroristMixx)" by Ara B on her maxi-single and then followed it with "The Hottest Summer Ever 2" mixtape. V Dot Nam also recorded a track, "Break It Down," with a local R&B singer from Ohio for their dual album releases; which was deshelved due to label decisions. Just recovering over one of his former partners using his magazine to gain rank in a gang, he released his 3rd mixtape, ThowdLife Jungle" presented by his music army "Lifeless Immortal (LI)". At the same time, Nam executive produced Crazy's debut mixtape Murdah Mindstate then released it under the LI brand.
===2015===
V Dot Nam launched EmpireIAM "The SemiMajor Recording Industry" as well as developed his first software that he developed from scratch. The 1st software was designed for musicians and businesses, and the 2nd was a SMS support center for anti-bullying and suicide crisis. Besides software development, Nam has also journeyed into data entry and business advocacy. On August 20th, he presented at the FCC Supplier Diversity Workshop & Conference while assisting with one of his brother companies. Following after that V Dot marched in the 20th Anniversary of the Million Man March entitled "Justice Or Else". There he met Mixmaster Ice (Official DJ of UTFO).
While campaigning the official theme song for The Million Man March from Royal Height (from the Legendary group, The Orioles), V also ran into the family of Mike Brown, Eric Gardner, Detroit New Era and many more special people that attended. Before really getting into the educational institutions, the University of EmpireIAM gained some much traffic that it crashed the server; while everything else on the site remained unaffected. Before departing from DC, Vietnam ran into an obstacle which caused a setback due to the main computer that was being used suffered a water spill during a work session. Shortly after that minor setback, V got everything back up and continued to add more applications and features to EmpireIAM. In the 3rd quarter going towards the 4th, V Dot made his sister that he started his musical journey with the CMO and Program Director of the EmpireIAM Enterprise.
===2016===
Starting the 1st quarter off with a show featuring the Uncle of Lebron James. V released his 4th mixtape entitled "House of Drama" as well as launched Mixtape Dynasty website and mobile app. 2 more artists, Young Rock and King KIP, was added to the Lifeless Immortal rooster. The first version of "Apple of My Eye" was leaked out early then sent to Maybach after he ended the MMG+Detroit Beef. During this time, he was working as the head engineer for 906 Studios. While in the middle of working on Blessed By A Curse and the Lifeless Immortal Manual, V Dot mother passed causing the album to be pushed back. Just so all of his soldiers could retrieve their missions during the time of loss, Nam created the Immortal SocialBASE; which is a social platform for Immortalized artists and military personnel to experience more eliteness in social media. As Da Season's Vet really looked at the direction that this project was going, he decided to split up the album.
===2017===
Just to show the world V Dot Nam's versatility in production, he released a compilation entitled "U Aint Win Against Nam" which featured Bunchie (pka Kaivonne Da Prophecy), Django Jones, SparkDawg, CrazyMF-C, Welcome 2 Thowd Town, W2TT La Familia and N9ne11. Getting the world ready for the wave of Immortal lyricists, Vietnam dropped Da City of Murders along with Crazy6Nam; which is a mixtape with his artist CrazyMF-C and Da Mafia 6ix (formerly known as Three 6 Mafia). Since the world has been waiting to hear both Da Season's Vet and SPi on a dual mixtape, the label decided to release "Hostile TakeOva" on MyMixtapez and DatPiff. Former No Limit artist, Yung Rowdy, joined Lifeless Immortal and LI West is started.
Nam felt like it was time to get the show started, so he released The Beginning by Lifeless Immortal for the fans that were anticipated for the next release. Grabbing the eyes of more people, V Dot ended up picking up a position of working as a personal designer for MikeWillMADEIt. Providing more exposure and opportunities to musicians worldwide, MikeWill linked up with V to search for the "Next Major Producer" and hottest artists in the "Major In Da Game" contests. To unite with family, Nam linked up with his cousins in Detroit and formed "The Henny Boys". To debut the Henny Boy's visual presence, V Dot built and set up the "Detroit LickHER Store". Within less than 24 hours, the "Lifeless Immortal News Center" was created to display all Immortal content.
