Team Plastique are a bunch of posers posing as posers. Psykat is an escaped mental patient, Legs Akimbo channels her past lives on stage and Axel Danke Schon is the Teams muse on-stage and off. Team Plastiques music is Sushi Punk- an unorthodox mix of electro, hip hop and punk. This decadent threesome grew up in tropical Australia in the shadow of a Big Pineapple, so their style is Neon Noir- sexy, extravagant and colourful, yet dark. The Team are a performance band and love bending the brains of audiences through interactive stunts like Food Bondage and Date Tape. Team Plastique have also organized crazy events in Berlin such as Tutti Frutti (based on the German game show where contestants stripped for prizes), Monaco a-go-go and A very Plastique Xmas. And in Australia This is Not Ibiza and Poodletronic. The Team also creates art installations and designed and performed at the entrance for Australias largest Festival- The Big Day Out in 2004. Team Plastique are from Australia, but are now living in Berlin. They have already toured to several European countries and supported acts such as Peaches and Chicks on Speed. In upcoming months they will be releasing their first European recorded EP followed up by a second on an Italian label end of 2006.
