Take You Out Lyrics

Yeah yeah
Here it is

She caught me by suprised I must say
Cause I never had seen such a pretty face
With such a warm and beatiful smile
It wasn't hard for me to notice her style
I was fasinated surly
She took my heart and held it for me
I wouldn't let her get away
Not until she heard me say

Excuse me miss (YEHHH)
But whats your name?
Where are you from and can I come?
And possibly can i take you out tonight?
To a movie, to the park (YEHHH)
I'll have you home before it's dark (WHOOOO)
So let me know, can I take you out tonight?

Don't care if i get rejected
At least then I won't regret it
Regret the fact i missed the chance for romance
At least I'll walk away knowing
I tried my best and i'm going
I'm going on with my day
Cause at least she heard me say

Excuse me miss
But whats your name?
Where are you from and can I come? (CAN YOU!)
And possibly can I take you out tonight?
To a movie, to the park (YEHHHH)
I'll have you home before it's dark (WHOOOO)
So let me know, can i take you out tonight?

Excuse me miss
But whats your name?
(I want to know you, I think I can show you good love)
Where are you from and can I come? (CAN YOU!)
And possibly can I take you out tonight?
To a movie, to the park (YEHHHH)
I'll have you home before it's dark (WHOOOO)
So let me know, can i take you out tonight?

Huh, that's why i had to come over
And introduce myself to you
Cause you never going to know where you're gonna find love
And hopefully I found it in you, yeah

Excuse me miss
But what's your name?
Where are you from and can I come?
And possibliy can I take you out tonight?
To a movie, to the park
I'll have you home before it' dark

Excuse me miss
But whats your name?
Where are you from and can I come?
And possibly can I take you out tonight?
To a movie, to the park
I'll have you home before it's dark
So let me know, can i take you out tonight?

Let me make your house a home baby

Excuse me miss
But whats your name?
Where are you from and can I come? (CAN YOU)
And possibly can I take you out tonight?
To a movie, to the park (YEHHHH)
I'll have you home before it's dark (WOOOO)
So let me know, can i take you out tonight?

Luther Ronzoni Vandross (April 20, 1951 - July 1, 2005), New York City, NY, was an American Soul and RnB singer whose career spanned four decades.

In the 70s, he worked as a backing singer Chic and for David Bowie (on the Young Americans album). He later found success as a solo artist with Superstar and A House is not a Home.

In the 80s, Vandross was a vocalist on early Change singles (Searching), whilst continuing his solo career with such releases as "Never too Much", "Power Of Love/Love Power", "If only for One Night", "Here and Now".

In the 90s, he was more famous for duets with Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey (amongst others), than for his solo work.

It was an ongoing battle with his weight that may have ultimately proved his undoing. He suffered a stroke in 2003, from which he never really recovered, and died in 2005.

During his career, he sold 25 million albums and won eight Grammy awards including Best Male R&B Vocal Performance four times. He won four Grammy awards in 2004, including the Grammy Award for Song of the Year for the track "Dance With My Father," co-written with Richard Marx.
