There is more than one artist named Sweetie.

1. Sweetie is the solo noise / ambient / drone / project of D.Knowler (of The Infinite Three, Cindytalk, Leisur Hive...) and has existed since the mid-nineties.

A string of ltd edition releases have been issued since 1997, including 'A Bristol Welcome' (1999), 'An Album' (2000), 'The Employment Tapes' (2005) and 'I Can Laugh About It Now But At The Time It Was Really Awful'.

Sweetie's new album, 'Blackthread' (2009) was released on the Actual Size label.


2. A female singer featured on the Angular Recording Corporation's compilation album, 'Rip Off Your Labels: More Angular Product' and who now performs and records as 'Japanese Mind Control'.
