Nic Wolf has been on the underground techno/ trance scene for more than 7 years. His style incorporates the killer riffs of progressive trance with the upbeat vibe of euro-club. His first album, State of Ambivalence, was released in 2007 both digitally, and on vinyl. It incorporated a chill, eccentric groove that is found rarely in modern trance music, (which he claims to be most influenced by) and is considered by most of his listeners as more "underground".

Nic started working with electronic music in 2003, when he acquired a copy of FruityLoops 3.4. Since then, he's been a staunch supporter of the DAW brand name, and still uses FL Studio (formerly FruityLoops) to produce the majority of his work.

In addition to FL Studio, Nic uses a variety of analog instruments. He has a preference for Korg products, and uses the microKORG synthesizer and mk3 Kaoss Pad quite liberally.

[2007] State of Ambivalence
All of this CD was written using FL Studio 4, a Roland W-30, and a substantial amount of free time. This was the first attempt for the artist at creating a worthwhile selection of electronic music. The songs are experimental and in many places, quite elementary. It was released in an extremely limited quantity in vinyl (100 copies) and on CD (200 copies). The full album was re-released in June 2009 as a free torrent
by the artist.

[2010] Exceeding Synthesis
Although most of the tracks on this album were released a year in advance, (presumably for the sake of press and remixing) the complete CD is said to tell a lighthearted science fiction tale of a sentient war machine that finds itself on a planet not of its origin. This story will supposedly be on the CD booklet.
