Felix began performing music at the age of six, intoning perky jazz from a knackered old trumpet. At the age of nine he graduated to drums, and then to the guitar and piano. He formed his first band aged twelve and began writing music soon afterwards. He spent his school years confined to the music wing, honing his skills as a songwriter, instrumentalist and singer.

After two years spent travelling around the world visiting the halls of his musical heroes, Felix enrolled at the University of Liverpool. Here he threw himself into the musical theatre scene and stoked the fires of his love of the artform by performing in a plethora of different productions. He wrote his first full stage musical whilst still a student, and emerged after three years with a first class degree in popular music.

He moved to London and continued to pursue his various disparate musical paths. He is the lead singer and main songwriter of the band Rocketeer, as well as an accomplished solo artist and leader of the fictitious hip-hop outfit known as The F-Bomb. He writes music for other artists as well as composing frequently for the stage.
