Arrows in her began as a solo project in 2007.
The name is a metaphor for the turbulent life of Damian Chacón's mother who died of complications due to kidney failure.
In late 2011 the moniker was taken up again, and the intention lyrically & thematically was to process the grief of losing your mother as a teenager, making sense of a bleak cruel world, and finding the will to continue existing, though not always wishing to do so.
Arrows in her was an all latiné math-rock/emo band from Northern New Jersey (NYC metro area) that toured the US twice, and went on 9 regional tours of various lengths.

AIH released their debut EP "leaving." on August 3rd, 2012,
a split with fellow NJ indie/emo band Gifts on July 6th, 2013,
their debut (&final) LP "It Tired Me All The Same" with Broken World Media on July 1st, 2016
(recorded in May of 2014, with Harold Perez on drums, Edwin on bass, and Damian on guitars)
The final line-up consisted of:
Gianmarco Guerra (Guitar/Vocals)
Nicholas Romaniello (Drums)
Edwin García (Bass)
Damian Chacón (Guitar/Vocals)

In early 2017 they went on hiatus.
December of 2018 released "too afraid to ask"
March of 2019 released "permanently revolting"
October of 2019 released "this feels convoluted/partial collapse(essays in brevity)"
All singles were recorded/mixed by Gianmarco Guerra at big mama's warehouse in Philadelphia, PA.
