That's Alright Lyrics

I leave the house when the sun is high, that's alright
Got a pick on my shoulder, heavy as night, that's alright
Gonna clear the rock, see what I can find, that's alright
'Least now that I'm older I can put up a fight, that's alright

Diamonds from coal, you from me
A new generation, impatiently
Brutal and tender
And the earth turns toward the light
Heya, heya, heya it's alright
Hey, that's alright

Walking to school just skin and bones, that's alright
Dust on your feet from kicking stones, that's alright
Get to the door, it's shut so tight, that's alright
Wake from the dream, tears in your eyes, that's alright

It doesn't feel alright, but it'll be alright

Holding your hand, you're holding mine, that's alright
Life after the rain so clean and fine, that's alright
Nobody knows what it's all about, that's alright
You take your time, try to figure it out, that's alright
