Bassist Steve Hogan , Trombone and Keys player Christopher Robin Cox , and drummer Graham O'Brien . Junkyard Empire are noted for their blend of Indie Rock, Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Funk, as well as their revolutionary and socially conscious lyrics and Imagery.

Junkyard Empire's new record, Acts of Humanity, Vol. 1 & 2, was called "a fine follow-up to brilliant offerings Reclaim Freedom, Rise of the Wretched, and Rebellion Politik," by music journalist and cultural critic Dwight Hobbes. They will be a featured artist at the STOP THE MACHINE rally and occupation of Freedom Plaza in Washington, DC on October 6, along with groups like Boots Riley and the Coup, Michelle Shocked, Head Roc, the Evens, and many more.
