Ren G is a New York–based pop singer and songwriter who first gained attention as the frontwoman of the electro-pop duo Club Eat. Originally from Long Island, she emerged from NYC’s nightlife scene with a sound that fused early-2000s nostalgia, synth-heavy production, and sharp, club-ready energy. With Club Eat, Ren was known for her commanding stage presence and hooky, confrontational vocals, performing at downtown venues and quickly becoming a staple of the city’s underground party circuit.
In 2023, Club Eat released their debut album START, an angular, Y2K-inspired pop record that combined icy minimalism with bratty charm. Not long after, Ren stepped into her solo era with the release of Miss 24/7, a self-described mixtape that marked her first project as a solo artist. The tape built on her earlier work but leaned further into pure pop, pairing hyper-glossy melodies with playful, hyper-femme visuals and lyrics about heartbreak, desire, and reinvention.
Ren G cites artists like Britney Spears, Madonna, Janet Jackson, and the Spice Girls as major influences, along with ’80s icons like Siouxsie Sioux and The B-52’s. Her style also reflects her roots in New York’s nightlife and her teenage obsession with scene culture and K-pop choreography, all of which inform her bold performance style and aesthetic.
With Miss 24/7, Ren G established herself as a solo force—sharpening her identity outside of Club Eat and delivering glossy, hook-filled pop with attitude. As she continues releasing music, her blend of theatricality, vulnerability, and pop precision makes her one of the most exciting voices coming out of New York’s underground scene.
