This Glass Embrace is an indie-rock band from Phoenix, Arizona, formed when singer-songwriter Matt LeFevers decided to trade his revolving lineup of collaborators for permanent members and start a band. Rounded out by bassist Kenny Rice and drummer Zack LeFevers, the newly minted power-trio (along with unofficial sometimes-member Jackie Roche) have released a full-length album and several EPs.

The group's first proper full-length, 2008's "A Ghost in the Photograph", is a concept album revolving around a fractured couple, an array of private demons, and a possibly haunted house. The band wrote and directed a music video for lead single, "Cue Ball, Corner Pocket", and released a four-track EP for alternate single "A Picture So Clear".

Influenced by cryptic, dimly-lit indie rock such as Manchester Orchestra and Brand New, as well as more accessible sounds like Taking Back Sunday and Jimmy Eat World, the group has honed their craft and branched into a variety of genres.

Their new record, "Brother, We Are Devils!", is a split album -- the first half featuring folk-tinged indie pop and the second made up of driving post-hardcore, embracing each of the group's styles. The album will be released on August 8th, 2011. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
