Maybe August is a successful cross-pollination between Allman Brothers, John Popper, Dave Matthews, and even a touch of Gin Blossoms. Born and raised in Mid-Michigan, the band is versatile, compelling, and an ideal companion on the road. Never better cruisin' music than with MA! Brothers Mike and Scott Robertson's guitar and vocals are well met with Keith Carolan's superior bass and Rosco Selley's golden harp. Drummer Matt Burge brings it all together..being one of the few drummers who can keep up with Carolan's vibe. The band is ever bit as polished as it is irreverant, and worth hearing every track.
