Katakan is a Polish Vampyric Black/Doom metal duo active since 2025 made by Kaelthen and Moorvan.
The name "Katakan" comes from a type of vampire in The Witcher universe created by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. In the books, katakans are powerful bestial vampires hunted by witchers.
