This German-born, Southern-raised Army brat has lived enough for several lifetimes in her twenty-something years, having been thrust from a gypsy-like and yet relatively stable existence into the chaos of shelters and life on the streets following her parents’ divorce and her mother’s alcoholism. But through it all, Dezaray never lost her love of music and it’s power to comfort, to heal, and to give voice to emotions otherwise left unsaid. When Dezaray sings, the listener is transported not only by the superior quality of her voice but also by the depth of feeling with which she imbues each song.
