gina began performing at age 15, singing backup vocals for the amazing
Phylis Hyman. Her touring life began when she joined
Harry Belafonte' for four International tours as his featured vocalist.
Subsequently, gina has performed as featured vocalist with many amazing
artists, including Ronny Jordan, Craig Harris, Sekou Sundiata, Ani Difranco,
and Toshi Reagan. As an actress, she originated the role of "Sarabi",
in Disney's "The Lion King", and has performed on Broadway in "Sheila's Day",
and many regional theater productions .

With folksoul, gina has invented a delectable melange, a contemporary
sound with classic orchestration and an irresistible groove. it is indeed the
medicine many of us have been waiting for. It's music that celebrates the love
we struggle to build, and represents a courageous kind of beauty-- that
