But you know that in a week or two
I'll be miles away from you
On the California coast
But you know the thing I'll miss the most is

If you miss me so much
That you can barely stand it
And your heart can hardly take
You know I'm never more than a phone call away

I won't hesitate to answer my phone
When your name shows up on my caller ID
But you know I can't stay
Because summer is calling me
Calling me

Because you know that in a week or two
I'll be miles away from you
On the California coast
But you know the thing I'll miss the most is youLyrics provided by TANCODEhttp://lyricsever.com/" readonly=""/>

The Thing I'll Miss Most Lyrics

I waited by the willow tree
Outside your parents house last night
Girl you know I warned you
Summer's coming soon
If you're gonna make a move
You better make your move

Because you know that in a week or two
I'll be miles away from you
On the California coast
But you know the thing I'll miss the most is you

Girl do you remember that time
I held both your hands in mine
And we watched the stars come out that night

You said that your heart could
Hardly take the moons reflection on the glossy lake
And I just whispered "I love you"

But you know that in a week or two
I'll be miles away from you
On the California coast
But you know the thing I'll miss the most is

If you miss me so much
That you can barely stand it
And your heart can hardly take
You know I'm never more than a phone call away

I won't hesitate to answer my phone
When your name shows up on my caller ID
But you know I can't stay
Because summer is calling me
Calling me

Because you know that in a week or two
I'll be miles away from you
On the California coast
But you know the thing I'll miss the most is you

Three years ago, 19-year-old Chase Coy began writing and recording music in his basement in Greenwood, Indiana. While it started as a personal attempt to help him make sense of his life, as Chase shared his music he found that he was not alone. Over 18 million MySpace plays later, his relatable songwriting and genuine connection with his fan base continue to make him one of the most popular newly signed artists in the U.S..

In 2008, iTunes named Chase one of the best new singer/songwriters of the year. Since then, he has continuously been on the iTunes top 100 singer/songwriter chart alongside classic artists such as Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel and Nick Drake and great new artists such as William Fitzsimmons, The Weepies and Brett Dennen. Recently, Chase’s song “If the Moon Fell Down Tonight” was featured on an iTunes Essentials Rising Stars compilation.

To date, he has released one full-length CD (Look How Far We’ve Come) and three EPs (Dear Juliet, Goodbyes and Autumn Skies and December), selling more downloads than many of his contemporaries.

This year Chase is recording his first studio album for Universal Republic with a cinematic acoustic and string production that will further distinguish Chase and bring more attention to his music. In addition, Chase has toured extensively this year for the first time bringing his music live to the large fan base he has developed across the U.S. and the world.
