Atumpan (Talking Drum), born Frank Elinam Cobbinah, is a modern Ghanaian musician from Accra who incorporates Reggae and Dancehall into his version of Hiplife (a modern offspring of the traditional Highlife music).

He has been in the music business for 12 years, but it was the release of his debut album in March 2011, entitled Ghana, that brought him to the fore. His single, The Thing, which features Stone [da Flowking] from the Bradez Hiplife duo, brought him even further attention within Africa as well as internationally.

Also of note is that Atumpan is a practising teacher who is presently pursuing BA studies in linguistics (University of Education, Winneba).
