Cirrus Point is the side project of 25 year old Dan Porter, from the band Teflon Child
(http://www.teflonchild.com). This project takes a more alternative approach to Dan's usual material, with a more chilled, yet darker vibe. Featuring tracks formulated over the last 4 years, 'Heartcore' brings together a collection of personal and intimate tunes designed to invoke emotions and conjure audio-induced images of sunset-laden skies and ethereal landscapes. It features collaborations with artists AL-X (http://www.myspace.com/thisisalx), Mike Rogers, Nick Murphy, Lee Porter and poet Carolyn Beeson.

Hertfordshire (UK)-based producer Dan draws inpiration from a diverse arrange of artists,
citing Moby, Lamb, DJ Shadow and Unkle among influences, and has been writing music for the last 7 years. His band Teflon Child are in the process of releasing their debut album, due out late 2006 on Thirteen Point Zero Records, and they are gigging frequently in London and around the UK.

Dan's music is incredibly diverse and it's clear that he has a remarkable ear for production. His delightful collection of tracks is sure to deliver a journey to places unfamiliar.
