Ms. Mazurowski began her musical studies at the age of five with piano lessons with Sister Adelaide in the Provincial House just outside of Crookston, MN. In fourth grade she added trumpet to her instrumental studies which she continued playing through high school. She also continued with piano lessons, studying from 1978-1985 with Ms. Barbara Smith of Clearwater, FL, and continued briefly at North Park College (nka University), Chicago, IL, (www.northpark.edu) with Mr. Kimberly Schmidt.

While at North Park, she sang in the College Choir and Chamber Singers, was president of the College Choir her junior year, played trumpet briefly in the Jazz Band (under the direction of Joe Lill) and participated from time to time in various wind ensembles on trumpet and flute.

Ms. Mazurowski began her vocal studies at North Park with Dr. Karen Bauer. While there she coached with Dr. Elizabeth Buccheri and Dr. Terree Shofner. After her junior year she was invited to volunteer with the Grant Park Symphony Chorus. Upon graduation with a B.A. in music, she studied with Ms. Diane Ragains for two years. She also began coaching with Ms. Judith Ault Jackson. Ms. Ragains then recommended to her Ms. Winifred Brown, with whom she studied for two years. Currently she studies with Ms. Judith Haddon and coaches still with Ms. Jackson.

Ms. Mazurowski sang with the Grant Park Symphony Chorus as a volunteer for five summers (1991-1995) and was on their professional Supplemental Chorus list for five summers (1996-2000). She was a supplemental chorister for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Chorus' (www.chicagosymphony.org) production of Mahler's Symphony #8, under the direction of Christoph Eschenbach. She sang as a chorister for Light Opera Works' production of The Desert Song (1998). She sang as a first year member with the CSO chorus for the 1999-2000 season for Bruckner's Mass in F Minor and Penderecki's Seven Last Gates of Jerusalem, and as an intern member during the 2000-2001 season which included a memorable performance at Carnegie Hall with the CSO chorus accompanied by the Berlin Staatskapelle for Beethoven's Symphony #9.

As a soloist Ms. Mazurowski has performed Vivaldi's Gloria (1st soprano) at New England Congregational Church in Aurora, IL, Saint-Saëns' Christmas Oratorio at First United Methodist Church in Oak Park, IL and Mozart's Requiem at St. Paul of the Cross in Park Ridge, IL where she has also been a cantor.
