There are 2 artists with the name Sone:

1.) The original Sone was a four-piece indie rock band from Portland, Oregon who recorded in the mid-1990s. They released three singles, a self-titled album in 1995 and the Holiday and Sport EP in 1996.

2.) The second SONE was born out of 4 like minded musicians, from opposite poles coming together with the same unbridled passion for the music they fused together in many a back street, London rehearsal room.

Although SONE has been simmering away for some 3 years, the current and final line up of this band have succeeded in creating by far the most complete package the band has ever tried to create. Binding rib crushing riffs to tribal rhythmic drums, SONE have created a sound of their own. 2005 saw the band write and demo dozens of songs only to let the best of them rise to the top and to be played live across London on many occasions to great applause. SONE have built up a strong and loyal fan base in and around London and also further a field.

Rock Sound wrote recently - "Coming on like the Blood Brothers after an intimate squeeze with Dracula, SONE give an intense, snarling and awesome performance".

SONE headed into the studio in the Autumn of 2005 to work with Paul Crosshoare (Breed 77, Sikth...) and lay down 4 tracks for their EP. Matt Foster was then given the task to mix the tracks to a level that SONE would be proud of. In the closing months of 2005, SONE were main support to Skindred and Throwdown to name a few. SONE are about passionate music pure and simple. Some say Metal while others say Hardcore...but truth be told, SONE don't fit into any stereotype or mould.
