Howie Stackz hails from Aurora, IL. He is formerly a member of a group known as "Stadium Status", which performed at local venues such as Reggie's rock club, Subterranean, Aurora University, & Joliet Junior College.

His debut tape "Catfish Aquarium" is cynical & ironic, yet peppered with dry wit & a hopeful, matter-of-fact sense of humor. It covers topics such as family, drug & alcohol abuse, life during & after college, & other adverse situations.
