Mikolai Stroinski (or Mikołaj Stroiński, born June 3, 1979) is a Polish composer of film, television, and video game music. Stroinski comes from a family with deep musical roots. His great-uncle, Marian Stroinski, served as the music director and conductor of the prestigious Kielce Philharmonic in Poland. Stroinski's father, a retired jazz trumpeter, gave him his first harmony lessons at the age of five. This immersion in both classical music and jazz provided a strong foundation for Stroinski, fostering his passion for composition and jazz piano.

After studying under Wojciech Kamiński, Stroinski was admitted to the esteemed Karol Szymanowski Music Academy in Katowice, Poland. Following his graduation with distinction, he was drawn to Boston, Massachusetts, where he continued his education at the renowned Berklee College of Music. Originally majoring in Jazz Piano, Stroinski’s natural aptitude for composition and his love for film led him to shift focus. He graduated with honors from Berklee, earning a Certificate of Honor for Outstanding Achievements in Film Scoring, and then set his sights on Los Angeles.

Stroinski’s career as a ghostwriter quickly gained traction. He acquired valuable experience composing music for TV shows featured on CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, SPIKE TV, the Discovery Channel, the History Channel, HBO, and the Sci-Fi Channel, with his work reaching audiences worldwide.

While working in television, Stroinski established his own studio to pursue his dream of composing for film. Early projects such as the action movie Hired Gun, the documentary Modjeska – Woman Triumphant, and the dark romantic Polish comedy Wonderful Summer showcased his emerging talent.
