Aisling Brouwer is a Dutch/Irish composer, producer and pianist who specialises in writing music for visuals.

One of her latest film scores is for Rubika Shah’s award-winning feature White Riot, which will have its UK & Ireland Theatrical Release in September 2020. Amongst others, it took home The Grierson Award for Best Documentary at the 2019 BFI London Film Festival and the Special Mention Crystal Bear at the Berlinale International Film Festival 2020.

Over the years Aisling has written music for tv programmes (BBC, Discovery Channel, Channel 4) and various advertising/film campaigns (UN, Dior, Zegna).

Aisling’s artist project with Anna Phoebe - AVAWAVES - is managed by Nitin Sawhney CBE and signed to One Little Independent Records (home to Bjork, Ásgeir, Tusks) . Their debut album Waves was released on 12th July 2019 which saw them consequently support Erland Cooper on tour and perform live on Mary Anne Hobbs’ ‘Art Is Everywhere’ BBC Radio 6 Music show at the Turner Contemporary.

Aisling is currently based in Berlin where she is a resident composer at Riverside Studios.
