Hip Hop is important to me because it raised me. It taught me style, taught me how to get money, helped me cope with some of the things life threw my way, filled in some of the missing parts in my life. My determination to make it in this industry is so strong because I want my music to speak to and inspire people the same way i was inspired. I want my music to be a shoulder you can lean on when you need to fulfill anything necessay in you life whether its a relationship issue, partying or hearing about whats really going on in the world.

Growing up i experienced almost every side of the bridge. My mama wasnt that financially fortunate but did all she could to make my life better than what she had. I never stayed at a school for more that 2 yrs because she was always trying to get us in a better place. Having me at 17 made it hard for her as she was living check to check. We moved to Chicago while I was young with my stepfather hoping better situations would arise. bout 6 yrs later we came back to St. Louis. While moving around with my mother i seen so many different type of people. I had friends of all walks of life and i think thats y i can relate to different people in my music.... Now on the other side of the bridge, My dad was rich. He had his on business, nice job on the side, perfect example of what i felt i could be. Having his example is what helped me make some of the decisions i came by in my life. I tried to do good in school, I tried to not get too deep in the street life, I
tried to do everything to not let my mama down who was working 2 jobs often facing eviction so i can get the best and my father down who had a great example. Yea i hustled a little in the streets but i never took it too far. I played my whole life like chess. I did as much as i knew i could without getting caught. I be in some crazy situations and hung with some of the most streets cats you could me. Plus i could talk my way outta everything. But me and my dad never had any kind of personal relationship til i was bout 21. We never for real even had a normal conversation so i really knew nothing about him. Come to find out he was the "Man" in these streets and well respected. Thats all i can say bout that, no comment lol. Im greatful for the example he put out there tho. Even though i was really on the recieving end of things, that taught me to go for mine and get things myself. Now at 22 im still going for a dream i first had when I was 12 and nothing
can stop me. I rap about real life situations that i have seen or been through. Ive seen the good and bad of many different walks of life, rich and poor, different cultures. My music can speak to anyone. And thats where I win. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
