KLOKWIZE is a fresh voice in hip hop with his influences deeply rooted in the old school. His sound is lyrical yet melodic at the same time, with jazz influences and sprinkles of vocalists. Growing up in the 'golden age' of east coast hip hop (the 90s) he drew inspiration from artists such as Nas and Gangstarr. Having started recording and performing professionally at age 14, Klok has released 10+ studio albums and mixtapes, killed countless collaborations with other artists and played many historic venues with an incredible stage show. He has received props from the likes of Talib Kweli, Joe Budden, Everlast and Solomon Childs. His recent collaboration with longtime friend Brendan D'amico (lead singer of LA rock It boys VAS DEFRANS) was featured monthly audio on large industry website IHipHop (Crackspace). His latest single "Wanna Be" was featured nationally on KISS radio and his new album, "St. Patrick's Day II" is now being released. The album deals with a diverse range of topics, as Klokwize is a one of a kind artist with an incredible story. "Cheers Darlin" leans on a jazzy piano riff until crunchy drums start popping it into place. "Klok's Story" is a direct retelling in rhyme of his career, and thoughts thereof, up to this point. "Playa Hustla" will have anyone's head bopping and hands in the air, and "Hellstorm" builds momentum up to a climax of rugged citars.
