Trailer Trashed Lyrics

I got a tall can of beer in my hand
And a big middle finger to the man
I got a couple hillbilly friends that shoot whiskey
And a million nights I don't regret

It's a backwoods, feel good, up all night
Party like it's 1969

Trailer trashed down by the river
Hop up in the shotgun, grab another cold one
Trailer trashed, the party's gettin' bigger
Put on your boots, kick out the city slickers
It's a hometown, throwdown party with some country class
Tonight we're gettin' trailer trashed

Now, I got some long necks and a couple of kegs
With them pretty little things and them pretty little legs
And I hope to get lucky with some bourbon from Kentucky
Or some sweet moonshine from South Caroline

It's a backwoods, feel good, up all night
Party like it's 1969

Trailer trashed down by the river
Hop up in the shotgun, grab another cold one
Trailer trashed, the party's gettin' bigger
Put on your boots, kick out the city slickers
It's a hometown, throwdown party with some country class
Tonight we're gettin' trailer trashed

I got a tall can of beer in my hand
And a big middle finger to the man

Trailer trashed down by the river
Hop up in the shotgun, grab another cold one
Trailer trashed, the party's gettin' bigger
Put on your boots, kick out the city slickers
Trailer trashed down by the river
Trailer trashed, the party's gettin' bigger
'Cause it's a hometown throwdown party with some country class
Tonight we're gettin' trailer trashed
We're gettin' trailer trashed
Gettin' trailer trashed

Frontman Michael Hobby (23) and lead guitarist Bill Satcher (22), the co-founders and creative conspirators of A Thousand Horses, have been crafting rock music infused with traditional American flavors of the southeastern US for over half a decade. A Thousand Horses blends blues, R and B, and good old slashing guitars, bass & drums in an elixir that comes out tasting of Small Faces and “Exile”-era Rolling Stones.

The two became good friends after meeting in a local music store back in 2003 in their hometown of Newberry, SC. With a mutual admiration for Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers and a slew of other classic rock records, it wasn't before long the first semblance of what is now A Thousand Horses started taking shape. Having cut their teeth in the southern rock club circuit, Michael and Bill never let an empty room slow them down. This is a band founded upon the collective love of the creative process. "Mission statements are for high schools and politicians - we're a rock n roll band" explained Michael when asked about his goals for A Thousand Horses.

Fast forward to 2010 - After several lineup changes over the years, Michael and Bill have rounded out the band with Bill's cousin Graham DeLoach (22) on bass, Zach Brown (24) on guitar and Shane Lenzen (24) on drums.

With the August 17, 2010 release of their debut, self-titled EP on DGC/Interscope/Van Howes Records, A Thousand Horses are positioned at the starting gate for a busy second half of 2010 and beyond.
