Try a Little Tenderness Lyrics

I'm gonna give my love to you
I'll show you what good love will do
It all comes down to what you give
Try a little tenderness
It'll open your heart up like a flower
Tenderness has got the power
It all comes down to the way you live
Try a little tenderness

When you're down
When you're weary
When all hope is gone
And you can't go on
When you're down
Done with fighting
Try a little tenderness

Everybody's always in such a rush
Everybody's caught up in the crush
When all we really need
Is a human touch
Try a little tenderness

When you're down
When you're weary
When all hope is gone
And you can't go on
When you're down
Done with fighting
Try a little tenderness

I'm gonna a give my love to you
And show you what your love will do
If you're ready to give up on the human heart
Try a little tenderness

I'm just tryin' to make it thru everyday
And leave a little lovin' along the way
Why does evrything have to be so damn hard
Try a little tenderness

When you're down
When you're weary
When all hope is gone
And you can't go on
When you're down
Done with fighting
Try a little tenderness
