The Edlos are a San Francisco Bay Area based contemporary a cappella group. The "Bad Boys of A Cappella" formed in 1988, with members Ed Cohn (bass), Bill Davis (tenor), Eric Morris (tenor), and Larry Venza (baritone). In 1993, tenor Craig Knudnsen replaced Bill Davis, and bass Avi Jacobson replaced Ed Cohn in 2005. The acronym Edlos is rumored to stand for "Excessive Decibel Levels from Outer Space", and the boys hail "from the planet "A" which circles the star Capella in the constellation Auriga" (http://www.singers.com/contemp/edlos.html).

In the current lineup, three of the four boys are operatically trained, and all have studied and dabbled in many forms of music. Every Edlos show is guaranteed to be a display of comedic flair as well as vocal excellence. They still hold a reputation for effective segue.

Their repertoire spans many decades and genres, including the 60s and country tunes, as well as their own compositions. They are currently touring California with their recently created "A Cappella Broadway" show. The Edlos have also accompanied tours of artists such as Ray Charles and the band Chicago.
