Trevor Gureckis is an award-winning composer and producer based in NYC. His work spans film, pop and concert music genres. His music often draws on his classical and production background, fusing electronics and live instruments in unique ways.

As a film composer, his music ranges from thriller, horror, and epic dramas. He has worked with M. Night Shyamalan for three seasons of the Apple TV+ hit Servant. The Hollywood Reporter noted that the series is “propelled by a score that goes between lullaby simplicity and experimental cacophony.” The third season will premiere in January 2022. The soundtracks are released on digital and vinyl by Lakeshore Records.

He again worked with M. Night Shyamalan on his highly anticipated feature film Old, which was released by Universal Pictures in the summer of 2021. Gizmodo notes of the high concept film, “All of it combines perfectly with the propulsive, drum-heavy score by composer Trevor Gureckis.” The soundtrack is released by Backlot Music.

Gureckis composed the score for the BBC World Service documentary podcast The Bomb and also composed the main title theme to the Amazon thriller series Hunters, created by David Weil and produced by Jordan Peele. Trevor also composed the music for the Warner Bros. Studio film adaptation of epic drama, The Goldfinch, directed by John Crowley. The score was critically acclaimed; described as “exceptionally fresh and disarmingly different” by The Hollywood Reporter and “stunning” by Paste Magazine. Other notable works include; Neil Burger’s Voyagers, Blumhouse’s Bloodline directed by Henry Jacobson, and HBO’s Vice: Raised in the System.

Trevor produced the electro-pop band My Great Ghost which is featured on the Philip Glass remix album REWORK_ spearheaded by Beck. He often collaborates with the singer/songwriter Niia and was an executive producer of her recent full length album II: La Bella Vita, which was released to critical success in early 2020.

His evening length ballet, Potential Energies, was premiered at BAM Fisher by The Nouveau Classical Project in 2014, directed by composer and producer Sugar Vendil. Trevor's solo album of instrumental and electronic music entitled Corte was released on SUPERTRAIN Records in 2019.

Trevor studied composition at the Yale School of Music. He received awards for his work on Servant and Hunters for the BMI Film, TV & Visual Media Awards in 2021.
