A voice for the voiceless and an advocate for the powerless, Hosanna uses the written and spoken word to “scream the Truth to a world that’s been lied to.” Through a medium combining the beats of hip-hop, the Beat poets of the 1960s, and the provocative parables of Jesus, she communicates the story of a relentless, restoring God to various ages, cultures, and people-groups all over the world.
Hosanna grew up on the streets of San Francisco, learning the rawness of sin, the depths of grace, and the culture of hip hop from the city's outcasts--the homeless, addicted, and convicted, and spent years performing in the underground slam poetry scene in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, & New York. As she earned her degree in English Lit. and a minor in theology, she discovered a way to bridge the gap between these two seemingly separate worlds in order to "tell the story of a crazy, amazing Love to a world that has stopped listening."

Now, bringing the streets to the Church and the Church to the streets, Hosanna has traveled nomadically around the country since 2010-- living out of a suitcase, creating family and community as she goes, and preaching the Gospel through this newfound language. She remains sharing spoken word poetry with countless organizations, schools, prisons, churches, camps, and conferences, and commonly commissions original pieces for church services and conventions, tailored to their message and themes. Additionally, she brings her nationally-used curriculum, Project Raindrop, to youth events across the country. Hosanna serves as a spokes-artist for various non-profit organizations, and as a keynote speaker for numerous topics including evangelism, obedience, and faith. Read more on Last.fm.
