Star Panel is the alter ego of Penn Harrisson, a young musician from North Carolina with the ambition "to make music purely from emotions and dreams, and to transpose feelings into music, and be heard". His music draws influences from Owl City – inspired by the artist, Penn download FL Studio on his parents computer and started making beats and writing lyrics. He has since moved on to more realistic and serious songs.

He recently played his first gig at Lakepark Swim Club in Raleigh, NC. At this concert, some songs from his forthcoming album Icelapse was debuted.
