There are at least three artists with the name Aum.

1. An American blues/psychedelic rock band (active from 1967 to 1970).
2. A black metal from Hong Kong (active from 2010 to present).
3. A Brazilian progressive rock band from Belo Horizonte (active during the 1980s)

1. Comprised of Wayne Ceballos (guitar, piano), Kenneth Newell (bass), and Larry Martin (drums), the San Francisco-based power trio released two albums, "Bluesvibes" and "Resurrection", both in 1969. Prior to this, AUM gigged actively in San Francisco in 1967 and 1968, mostly at the Filmore West and the Straight Theatre on Height Street.

2. Aum are a three-piece black metal band from Hong Kong, China which formed in 2010. They currently have a 46-minute long EP entitled "Of Pestilence" which was released on Le Crepuscule du Soir Productions in November 2012.
