Seemingly out of nowhere, and all at once, BELOVED SUN was birthed; an Experimental Queer duo composed of musician Sol Galeano and poet Artist Named You. Explicitly genreless and incessantly feeling-focused, BELOVED SUN melds together elements from hip hop, disco, dance, and traditional spoken word to create something “...effortlessly sensual and tender and sincere.” Employing a variety of their creative practices, the two approach the band as an artistic experiment in-and-of itself, a meta-expression as a way of processing thought, experience, and Time.
