Kevin JZ numbers like “Who Is Ya Favorite Femm Queen” or “This is Wat I Wanna See” contain pounds of raw, wild, skittering beats topped by yelling, purring, Grace Jones-style growling, and his signature chants like “Kitty kitty kat k-kat-kat,” “Bam-Bam-Shawam!” or the “Hummingbird” hook, a sort of speaking-in-tongues voodoo that launched him into the limelight in 2005.
