Warzone Lyrics

Change your ways, for them
It's all part of the game we play
Fight for what you could never ever win
Take a number, welcome to L.A.

This is where it's led
I think about the ways, the means, the in betweens
I've really lost my head
I think about the exit plan, where does this end?
Better keep your head down

My life is a warzone
Torn between what's right and wrong
My life is a warzone, there's no way out
I'm gonna end up hurting someone

Creep around on the egg shells, down at the start
Don't know how I'm gonna make it today
Frustrated and losing myself in the part
Now the white coats come to put me away

Hanging by a thread I live without
Time for what's real, these moments I must steal
I pick through what's left, I live without
Letting pain I feel have the chance to heal
Better keep your head down

My life is a warzone
Torn between what's right and wrong
My life is a warzone, there's no way out
I'm gonna end up hurting someone

I'm waiting for better days
These hard times won't go away
I still haven't found my way
Where there's nothing left to leave behind
I won't give you what is mine, I'll be fine
Better keep your head down

My life is a warzone
Torn between what's right and wrong
My life is a warzone, there's no way out
I'm gonna end up hurting someone

My life is a warzone
Torn between what's right and wrong
My life is a warzone, there's no way out
I'm gonna end up hurting someone

Framing Hanley is a five piece alternative rock band from Cookeville (Tennessee), United States. Nixon, Chris, Brandon, Tim, and Luke came together to form a band that was eventually named Framing Hanley. (The band was called by a different name up until 2006, Embers Fade, but changed in dedication to a great friend of the band, Ashley Hanley, who passed away.) With their amazing musical abilities and live show the band quickly gained a large following in Nashville. In November of 2006, the band was fortunate to hook up with producer Brett Hestla (Dark New Day), who helped harness their energy into two songs. These two songs were enough to capture the attention of Jeff Hanson (Creed, Sevendust, Shinedown, Paramore) and his record label Silent Majority Group.

Their debut album 'The Moment' came out May 15th, 2007 on Silent Majority Group.

Framing Hanley's sophomore album, titled 'A Promise To Burn', was released on May 27th, 2010.
