Pommelien Thijs is a Belgian actress and singer. She first appeared on Flemish children's television in 2010. In 2012 and 2013, Thijs was one of two actresses portraying the title character in the Dutch-language version of the musical Annie in Antwerp.

In 2019, she was cast as Caro in the Flemish musical television series #LikeMe. It became her breakout role. The cast’s soundtrack albums have topped the Ultratop Album Charts in Flemish Belgium. The first series’ soundtrack spent more than five years on the chart, was certified double-platinum and the best-selling album of 2019. Together with the cast of the show, she performed several concerts across Flanders.

In 2020, Thijs went on to record solo music (much like her co-stars Camille and Maksim). Her debut solo single “Nu Wij Niet Meer Praten” alongside Dutch singer Jaap Reesema became a hit single in the Christmas period, topping the Ultratop Singles Chart in Flemish Belgium and the official Dutch Top 40. It has been streamed over 70 million times. It ranks as the best-selling single by any #LikeMe-star.

In 2021, she collaborated with Kris Kross Amsterdam and released “Meisje van Honing”, which both became Top 40-hits on the Ultratop Singles Chart.

In 2022, she released “Ongewoon” as the lead single of her debut album. It became a multi-platinum hit in Belgium, topping the Ultratop Singles Chart for one week. Its follow-ups “Wat Een Idee?!” and “Zilver” also reached the Top 10.

In 2023, she released her debut album Per Ongeluk. It spent eleven weeks at Number 1 on the Belgian Album Charts, went multi-platinum and was the best-selling album of the year. It also reached the Top 20 on the Dutch Album Charts upon release. The album was released around the same time as “Erop of Eronder”, which became a juggernaut hit in Belgium. It spent six weeks at Number 1 on the Belgian Singles Chart and was declared the summer hit of the year. She also starred in the Netflix hit series Knokke Off, which helped her break the Netherlands.

In 2024, she continued releasing singles, including a collaboration with Bazart. She also released her first live album. She also headlined Pukkelpop Festival. Her standalone single “Het beste moet nog komen” became her fourth Number 1-hit in Flemish Belgium.

In 2025, Pommelien Thijs released "Atlas" as the lead single of her sophomore album GEDOE. It became a massive hit for the Belgian star. It spent fifteen weeks at Number 1 on the Belgian Ultratop 50, becoming one of the longest-running #1s of all time. It also became Pommelien Thijs her big solo breakout in the Netherlands.
