Lathan Warlick grew up in Jackson, Tennessee on a side of town known for its gangs, violence, and crime.
Unlike majority of the community, he was fortunate enough to be raised in a two- parent household alongside three siblings. Lathan started as a hip-hop dancer in his hometown, which earned him the title as one of the most talented dancers in Jackson, TN. After numerous shows and events, a dramatic change took place that nearly took his life. In 2011 he was held up at gunpoint outside of a nightclub. While the gun was being held at his face Lathan pleaded for God to help him out of the situation. Although the trigger was pulled, the click was heard... there was no bullet. God showed up supernaturally! This incident and many other occurrences were pivotal points in developing him as an artist. The young artist from Tennessee is determined to take his talent to the next level. Lathan released his debut project entitled StreetRev on May 7, 2016 followed by his latest song release entitled "Tellem That I'm Comin" on December 3, 2016. To add to the list of achievements, the Akademia named his song “I Need a Blessing” the best Rap/Hip-Hop song for the month of October. This award was presented to Lathan at the Akademia Gala on April 21st in California. Lathan’s music has been featured on some of the top platforms such as Rapzilla, Christian Hip-Hop, Hits Just as Hard, Rude Boy Lifestyle Magazine, and Zevo TV. His talent has been shared on social media by Grammy Award winner Chris Brown and comedian D.L. Hughley.
