Richard Redding the iconic rock star movie star entertainer from Atlanta,Ga. began life in a musical family. Taking after his blues rnb father, Richard found music calling at him professionally in his early twenties as R G STAR with a string of original local and regional pieces 'G-Funk,Summer Fun,Kinky Disposition to name a few. Since 2000 he has been active in more bands,(Rrchrdgy's Rocky Road Music, The Redding Boyz, The Spotted Zebras )projects and genre than can be named resulting in many albums foreign and domestic. Producing with longtime collaborators Reggie Hargis and Jimmie Brown of BRICK on numerous ocassions ,he has also worked with ,William Green,Haywood Tucker, Leroy Redding ,Ambrick Bridgeforth,Sir Robert, Victor Alexander Gregory Clark,Red Maiden D J Stan and Juan Adams from Arrested Development and many others. Richard Redding is a voting NARAS (GRAMMY) member and a Auddy Award winner. His influences are a very colorful palette including The Allman Brothers,Usher,Prince,Outkast,The Barkays,Otis Redding,Jimi Hendrix, Janice Joplin, Little Richard Parliament Funkadelic and everything he touches,see or hear.
