John Piscitello is an American composer known for his compelling scores for feature films. His acclaimed soundtrack to No Place on Earth was recently released on Varèse Sarabande.

Following a distinguished career in product management for MOTU and Google, John went on to study at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and the EAMA composition program at the historic La Schola Cantorum in Paris. He later graduated from the Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television (SMPTV) program at the University of Southern California.

John provided "a powerful and poignant orchestral score" (FilmScoreMonthly) for No Place on Earth, a documentary feature, which premiered at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival and won the documentary audience award at the Hamptons International Film Festival.

His accumulative composing credits include Contractor's Routine (2010), the animated film Dixie Dynamite (2009) and additional music to The Short Game (2013), which premiered at SXSW and won the audience award at the Maui International Film Festival.
