Kalie Shorr (born July 11, 1994) is an American country music singer-songwriter from Portland, Maine. She is best known for her Youtube popularity, which boasts videos with nearly half a million views. Although she's well known for her acoustic covers, her originals are a favorite of teens and their parents alike! Her songwriting is beyond her years, and she writes about things that happen in her everyday life- from finding love, to losing love. to loving best friends, and forgiving bitter enemies. She was the southern Maine winner of Maine's Got Talent in 2010. She's appeared/performed on local news stations. She has also received attention from well-known gossip blogger Perez Hilton, who posted one of her videos comparing her to Taylor Swift. And on that note, Kalie was also selected to be Taylor's stand-in and an extra in the "Mine" by Taylor Swift music video, shot in Kennebunkport, Maine. She also has just wrapped up playing Puck in her school's performance in Shakespeare's "A Midsummernight's Dream".
