Acoustic Truth, composed of Ryan Knott and Sarah Lendy, is a country pop and blue-eyed-soul duo formed in the summer of 2011. The duo has been compared to popular bands and artists such as The Civil Wars, Lady Antebellum, Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat. With their distinct vocals and natural ability as songwriters, Knott and Lendy strive to provide hope and inspire people through their music.

The two best friends from Chicago began creating music together during the summer of 2011. After hitting it off as interns at Camp Star, a summer camp for children living with psychological disorders and learning disabilities, the pair kept in touch and routinely exchanged music between each other. It wasn’t until summer 2011 did they write their first song together, “A New Me”, and finally decide to partner up in hopes of bringing back heartfelt music that has been lost over the years.

During the beginning stages of their career, Knott and Lendy have enjoyed performing their music on a more personal scale for audiences in hospitals and rehabilitation centers. This is something they plan to continue even as their career progresses to larger stages. They plan to be a positive influence within the industry and touch the hearts of every individual listener.
