Mooncalf And Caliban started in late 2006 with permanent members Vernon Meidlinger (Rythem Guitar, Vocals) and Nikolei Rinaldi (Bass, Backing vocals). Strumpet Blues, To The Roaring Wind, Cherokee Rose, and Dance All Night were some of the first tracks written between them. In late 2007 Eric Belshoff joined as lead guitarist.
