David Ellis is an unsigned signer / songwriter in Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England. 2014 saw the release of David's debut album 'The Boy Who cried Wolf', featuring 10 lovingly crafted songs showcasing the songwriters ability to tell tales and tap toes.

Hailing from the Tolkien and Nick Drake county of Warwickshire, and raised on a diet of 60s and 70s classics and 90s US alternative bands, David Ellis blends these influences with his own songwriting sensibilities into a sound that he can confidently call his own.

As comfortable with an acoustic ballad as he is with a full rock-out number, 'The Boy Who cried Wolf' album features plenty of both - all with Davids knack for catchy melodies, lush harmonies and effective lyrics. If you're into the likes of The Beatles, Neil Young, Elliott Smith, Built to Spill et al.. you're sure to find a lot to like.

Recorded both at home and at Woodbine Street Studios by John Rivers (The Specials) The album was mixed by Ryan Canestro of Ditch Road Records, California and mastered by Jon Tidey at Epic Sounds, Vancouver, BC.

In 2011, David released 'Indigo' is his debut single.
