Psychedelic future pop artist Izzy Perri spent his childhood immersed in cassettes by the likes of Hendrix and Clapton, in his hometown of East Brunswick, New Jersey. Honing a multi-instrument skill set in bands throughout his teenage years, Izzy’s soulful psychedelic melodies emerged as he entered college and discovered core influences LCD Soundsystem and Tame Impala. Inspired by those immersive one man production projects, Izzy began releasing music in late 2019, defined by heavy grooves, and lush, funky vintage synth beds. The tranquil mystique of Izzy’s 2019 single “Lucid” quickly caught the attention of curators, who featured the record on Spotify’s “Fresh Finds” and the zodiac themed series “Aries.” As Izzy takes on 2021, he has released his second EP titled “Habitat Vol. 2” coming just after a string of colorful single and video releases introducing a host of new listeners to his journey down an unpaved musical lane.
