You Don't Care Nothin' Lyrics

A cat lies awake when it sleeps
Was she conscious of her own miseries?
Will the agony of her pain
Win her to enlightenment and set conscience free?

Do you really wanna know what's happenin'?
Do you really wanna know what's goin' on?
Hey, girl, you better please take a look around
Explore your heart, find out for yourself

Jenny Demilo, you don't care nothin' about me
Jenny Demilo, well you don't care nothin' 'bout me

I never really got a reason
Never had a use for one before
But now I know that there's now a prize
Both for the wise and the unwise

Do you really wanna know what's happenin'?
Do you really wanna know what's goin' on?
Hey, girl, you better please take a look around
Explore your heart, find out for yourself

Jenny Demilo, you don't care nothin' about me
Jenny Demilo, well you don't care nothin' 'bout me

About me, about me
About me, yeah yeah, about me
About me, about me
About me, yeah yeah, nothin' 'bout me

Jenny Demilo, you don't care nothin' about me
Jenny Demilo, well you don't care nothin' 'bout me

I say you don't care nothin' about me
I say you don't care nothin' about me
I say you don't care

Rancid is a punk rock band which formed in Berkeley, California, United States in 1991. The band consists of Tim Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Lars Frederiksen (guitar), Matt Freeman (bass) and Branden Steineckert (drums). The band has released nine albums: Rancid (1993), Let's Go (1994), ...And Out Come the Wolves (1995), Life Won't Wait (1998), Rancid (2000), Indestructible (2003), Let the Dominoes Fall (2009), ...Honor Is All We Know (2014), and Trouble Maker (2017). The band originally consisted of Armstrong, Freeman (both former members of Operation Ivy) and drummer Brett Reed, with Frederiksen joining in 1993. Reed left in 2006 and was replaced by Stieneckert.

To date, Rancid has released nine studio albums, one split album, one compilation, two extended plays, and a series of live online-only albums, and has been featured on a number of compilation albums. The band has independently sold over four million records worldwide,[4] making it one of the most successful independent punk groups of all time. The band rose to fame in 1994 with its second studio album, Let's Go, featuring the single "Salvation". In the following year, Rancid released its highly successful album ...And Out Come the Wolves, which produced its best-known songs "Roots Radicals", "Ruby Soho" and "Time Bomb", and was certified gold and platinum by the RIAA, selling over one million copies in the United States alone. Its next four albums, Life Won't Wait, Rancid, Indestructible and Let the Dominoes Fall, were also critically acclaimed, though not as successful as ...And Out Come the Wolves. Read more on Last.fm.
