There are at least 3 bands called V.O.S:

1) Voice of Soul (V.O.S) is an R&B group with members 최현준 (Choi Hyun Joon) and 김경록 (Kim Kyung Rok). 박지헌 (Park Ji Heon) was also a member but left in 2010 due to company differences. The group is in 스타제국 (Star Empire) Entertainment.

Their debut was in 14 May 2004, with the 1st album, “The Real”. The hits from the 1st album were 소중한 사람을 위해 (For The Special Person), 눈을 보고 말해요 (Look Into My Eyes And Tell Me), and 그게 되나요? (Can You Do That?).

Their 2nd album, “Blue Castle”, was released last 22 September 2005, and the hit is 시한부 (Time Limit). Firstly, they planned to release the album on May, but then delayed because of short preparation since the leader of the group, 박지헌, broke his right arm in an accident.

In this 2nd album, each member of the group got an opportunity to sing solo. 박지헌 sings 오늘도 눈물나게 기억속을 곧고있죠 (Tears Of Memory Will Show Up Today - Track #10), 최연준 performs Sweet Girl (Track #7), and 김경록 with 헤어지는 이유 (The Reason of Separation - Track #3).

2) V.O.S. (Veil Of Secrecy)

Cinematic dark ambient and industrial project of Steve Hall.

3) V.O.S. (Victims of Society)

V.O.S., or The V.O.S. Family, was a Memphis-based hip-hop group in the 90's that, until around 2022, were completely unknown outside of their immediate area. Due to a fortunate revival of the underground's interest in Memphis rap, they received some attention on the music rating site and encyclopedia Rate Your Music, leading to relative popularity several decades after they released their first LP. Their music was made early in the members' lives, as stated by them in various instances online. One member, the youngest (seen in the center of the Come-N-2 My World cover), was allegedly fifteen during the creation of their self-titled mixtape.

Their only known album, (as of January 2025) "Come-N-2 My World", uses the Memphis Rap style they came from in a myriad of innovative ways. For example, they mixed their styles with genres like G-Funk and R&B, and used more prominent samples. Their lyricism is also much more positive than that of their peers'.

They also released a self-titled mixtape under the V.O.S Family name, which is archived on YouTube by a Memphis rap archivist. As of now, no official streaming platforms carry V.O.S material, but all of their known music can be found on YouTube or downloaded from various archival websites. Physical copies exist, but are likely rare or hard to find.

At some point after the release of Come-N-2 My World, V.O.S disbanded and stop making music together. No information about the members, or their future career paths, seems to be available as of now. Allegedly, some of the members passed away at some point. According to a comment on the self-titled mixtape's archive, one member named John Franklin passed away. Other comments by someone claiming to be a former member of V.O.S allege to other member's deaths, or alternatively, imprisonment. However, no evidence to back up this information seems to exist. Considering the lack of information available online regarding the group's members, the only possible information we have about the group is based on word-of-mouth from those claiming to be members or associates.
